Georgetown University Professor & President Clinton's academic mentor, Dr. Carroll Quigley, says that powerful investment bankers have planned "a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole."  (source)

Renowned historian, Dr. Carroll Quigley writes that after world war one, the "powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole.  This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences.  The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations.  Each central bank, in the hands of men like Montagu Norman of the Bank of England, Benjamin Strong of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, Charles Rist of the Bank of France, and Hjalmar Schacht of the Reichsbank, sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world. ... The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers.  Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy."  --Dr. Carroll Quigley, Tragedy & Hope: A History of the World in Our Time, mentor to U.S. President Bill Clinton, renowned Historian, Professor of History at Georgetown University, consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Navy, and the Select House Committee on Astronautics and Space Exploration, which went on to establish NASA.  During his presidential acceptance speech at the 1992 Democratic National Convention, future U.S. President Bill Clinton named Dr. Quigley as an important influence.

"In short, the "house of world order" will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down.  It will look like a great "booming, buzzing confusion," to use William James' famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.  Of course, for political as well as administrative reasons, some of these specialized arrangements should be brought into an appropriate relationship with the central institutions of the U.N. system, but the main thing is that the essential functions be performed."  --Richard N. Gardner, The Hard Road to World Order, Foreign Affairs (Journal of the Council on Foreign Relations - CFR), page 558, Volume 52, Number 3, April 1974.  Member of the Trilateral Commission, Senior Adviser to the United States Ambassador to the United Nations (U.N.)

"It is as hard for the good to suspect evil, as it is for the evil to suspect good."  --Marcus Tullius Cicero, Statesman, orator, writer (106-43 BC)

"The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government of the U.S. since the days of Andrew Jackson."  --U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt in a letter written Nov. 21, 1933 to Colonel E. Mandell House (Woodrow Wilson's mentor)

911 Introduction, Scientifically Based Evidence

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) owns everyone of any significance in the major media.”  --William Colby, former Director of the CIA

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks...will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."  --Thomas Jefferson

"History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling money and its issuance."  --James Madison

"The Government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credits needed to satisfy the spending power of the Government and the buying power of consumers. By the adoption of these principles, the taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest. Money will cease to be master and become the servant of humanity."  --President Abraham Lincoln

"Some of the biggest men in the U. S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."  --President Woodrow Wilson, The New Freedom (New York: Doubleday, Page & Co., 1913), Chapter 1

"9/11 Press for Truth", Documentary, best mainstream 9/11 film

"If congress has the right under the Constitution to issue paper money, it was given them to use themselves, not to be delegated to individuals or corporations."  --President Andrew Jackson

"...the real menace of our republic is this invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, State and nation.  Like the octopus of real life, it operates under cover of self-created screen.  It seizes in its long and powerful tentacles our executive officers, our legislative bodies, our schools, our courts, our newspapers and every agency created for the public protection."  --John F. Hylan New York city Mayor (1922)

"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."  --President Woodrow Wilson (Source: "Taxpayer's Message to Congress: Repeal the Federal Reserve Banks: Pandora's Box of Criminal Acts", by Casimir Frank Gierut, p. 31)

"...the J.P. Morgan [banking] interests.... got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press of the US.... They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers."  --Congressman Oscar Callaway, statements in the Congressional Record (vol. 54, February 9, 1917, p. 2947)

“All truth passes through three stages.  First, it is ridiculed.  Second, it is violently opposed.  Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.”  --Arthur Schopenhauer

“First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.”  --Mahatma Gandhi

"Loose Change: Final Cut", Documentary, best 9/11 film, seen by tens of millions globally, 130 min.

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies."  --Thomas Jefferson

"If ever again our nation stumbles upon unfunded paper, it shall surely be like death to our body politic. This country will crash."  --George Washington

"The powers of financial capitalism had [a] far-reaching [plan], nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole.

This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences.

The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world’s central banks which were themselves private corporations.

Each central bank… Sought to dominate its government by its ability to control treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world.”

"The National parties and their presidential candidates, with the Eastern Establishment assiduously fostering the process behind the scenes, moved closer together and nearly met in the center with almost identical candidates and platforms, although the process was concealed as much as possible, by the revival of obsolescent or meaningless war cries and slogans (often going back to the Civil War). … The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can “throw the rascals out” at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy. … Either party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, unenterprising, and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.

At the end of the war of 1914, it became clear that the organization of this [secret] system had to be greatly extended... the task was entrusted to Lionel Curtis who established, in England and each dominion, a front organization to the existing local Round Table Group. This front organization, called the Royal Institute of International Affairs, had as its nucleus in each area the existing submerged Round Table Group. In New York it was known as the Council on Foreign Relations, and was a front for J. P. Morgan and Company.... In fact, the original plans for the Royal Institute of International Affairs and The Council of Foreign Relations were drawn up at Paris."

--Dr. Carroll Quigley (1910 – 1977), Tragedy & Hope: A History of the World in Our Time, 1966, writer and renowned professor of history at Georgetown University from 1941 to 1976, consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Navy, the Smithsonian Institute, and the Select House Committee on Astronautics and Space Exploration, which went on to establish NASA, named by Bill Clinton as an important influence during his acceptance speech to the 1992 Democratic National Convention

"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take it away from them, and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money."  --Sir Josiah Stamp, Director of the Bank of England (appointed 1928), reputed to be the 2nd wealthiest man in England at that time

"In the size of the lie there is always contained a certain factor of credibility, since the great mass of people will more easily fall victims to a great lie than to a small one."  --Adolph Hitler

"911 Ripple Effect", Documentary

"Information is the currency of democracy"  --Thomas Jefferson

"There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it...  There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone...  The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press?...  We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."  --John Swinton (1829 -1901), Head of the Editorial Staff for the New York Times (1860 - 1870)

"…This is the deadening consensus that crosses party lines, that dominates our major media, and that is strangling the liberty and prosperity that were once the birthright of Americans.  Dissenters who tell their fellow citizens what is really going on are subject to smear campaigns that, like clockwork, are aimed at the political heretic.  Truth is treason in the empire of lies."  --Ron Paul, “The Revolution: A Manifesto”

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."  --Theodore Roosevelt

"The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to law, and particularly to deny him the judgment of his peers, is in the highest degree odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist."  -- Winston Churchill, November 21, 1943

"A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government."  --Edward Abbey (1927 - 1989, Western novelist and essayist)

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."  --Mahatma Ghandi

"If all that Americans want is security, they can go to prison. They'll have enough to eat, a bed and a roof over their heads. But if an American wants to preserve his dignity and his equality as a human being, he must not bow his neck to any dictatorial government."  --Dwight D. Eisenhower

"A Cherokee elder was teaching his grandchildren about life.  He said to them...A fight is going on inside me...it is a terrible fight between two wolves.  One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, pride and superiority.  The other wolf stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.  This same fight is going on inside of you and every other person too.  They thought about it for a minute and then one child asked...Grandfather, which wolf will win?  The old man simply replied...The one I feed."  --Anonymous

"The essence of Christianity is told us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the tree of knowledge. You could be in the Garden of Eden if you had just keep your fucking mouth shut and hadn't asked any questions.''  --Frank Zappa
